COVID 19 POLICY
Around 21 million Americans struggle with at least one addiction, with all potentially facing short-term and long-term health repercussions. It can worsen existing health conditions and cause new health concerns. Drug or alcohol addiction can ruin a person’s personal and professional relationships. Addiction takes away the ability to concentrate and focus. As a result, productivity declines along with the quality of life and happiness.

About Our Homes

Life-Rock homes are spacious, clean, and well maintained. They are equipped with all the amenities necessary to be comfortable, find work, and begin rebuilding lives. Our homes are close to public transportation, shopping malls, health centers, restaurants, and many AA and other 12-Step meetings.

We have two men’s houses in central Santa Rosa, a women’s house in Santa Rosa’s Rincon Valley, a women’s house in Windsor, and a women’s house in Petaluma. We accommodate children on a very limited basis in our Santa Rosa women’s home.

What To Expect

Life-Rock is committed to paving the way for addiction recovery. A recovering addict’s environment plays a vital role in a successful transition toward a sober life. We have created a healthy environment conducive to recovery at our homes. By having a zero-tolerance drug policy and recognizing the issue of self-control that most recovering addicts might face, our house managers help by conducting frequent and random room sweeps and drug screening tests. It is important to isolate our residents from substances so they can learn how to function successfully again without the use of drugs or alcohol.

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of a clean environment. A clean, healthy environment fosters positive thinking and can help recovering addicts stay focused on their recovery. Our house maintenance staff thoroughly cleans every nook and cranny of our homes and declutters spaces regularly to not only promote a clean, but also a safe, environment.

Most of our house managers have faced and recovered from addiction and know very well how strenuous the journey toward recovery is. They are always willing to lend an ear to house residents and provide them with guidance every step of the way. When a recovering addict enters one of our homes, they can rest assured that they will be met with endless compassion and support.

Our Mission

We are committed to helping house residents rebuild their lives, foster relationships, and overall be comfortable in their own skin. Our house managers conduct interactive activities regularly to help house residents bond with each other, learn from one another, and develop the life skills they need to resist temptations.

Our house managers also help residents find jobs and become contributing members of society while bringing value to themselves and others. We encourage house residents to join recovery support programs designed to help them identify relapse triggers and develop a plan to avoid them.

One of Life-Rock’s core values is responsibility. Responsible people are able to analyze tough situations and make better decisions that take into account the well-being of themselves and their loved ones. Many addicts use alcohol or substances to avoid responsibilities. Reluctance to take responsibility is a common cause of relationship conflict. House residents are held accountable and expected to fulfill their commitment to themselves and one another. They are also expected to take care of everyday duties that help them create routines that foster productivity.

At Life-Rock, our goal is to help recovering addicts learn the skills, tools, and routines to support themselves and their loved ones while living a sober life. To schedule a visit to one of our homes, call our office.
